Wonderful Barn, Leixlip, Co Kildare, Ireland.

Yes i agree . The barn is a focal point along the the now very grassy north-eastern avenue . That avenue is now stopped with the motorway and all its fencing which unfortunately has divorced this wonderful barn from Castletown estate. The other great Castletown folly ,the Connolly Folly , has also got disconnected from the estate,an inevitable sign of change. This is a wonderful picture . Here it is a remnant but it is also reminder of the grand vision of an Irish 18th century parkland.
